With an impressive exterior, tastefully landscaped grounds, and easy freeway access, the Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova is an obvious choice for the discerning traveler in the Sacramento/Rancho Cordova area. 

However, the good impressions don't stop on the outside. As you enter the main doors, a beautiful three-panel mural provides a stunning backdrop to the spacious lobby area.  Our check-in was a breeze, and the friendly staff made my family and I feel right at home.

The room we stayed in was large, scrupulously clean, and very nicely decorated.  The view from the bay window was spectacular! Our children thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the comfortable chaise looking out at the lights of the city at night.  The hotel room was quiet and well-equipped, and the bathroom quite large for a hotel. 

Fancy a dip in the drink?  Choose either the hot spa, or jump into the pool!  With several waterfalls sparkling in the lights and pouring into the swimming pool, a relaxing time is just around the corner. 

Don't forget to check out the hotel's new restaurant: Formaggio Taverna and Patio (one of our Recommended locations), located right off the hotel lobby.   The dining area spills out onto the patio for poolside dining with a view of the waterfalls and verdant landscaping around the patio.

For business travelers, the Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova has  fourteen rooms available for both large and small groups, as well as plenty of parking.  Don't forget the Starbucks Coffee Shop in the hotel for those meetings that last a little long...

All in all, we found this to be a welcoming, upscale hotel that was perfectly situated for business traveling, yet also a great place for families. 

The Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova is a quick jaunt from Fair Oaks, and a short drive from downtown Sacramento (check out Old Sacramento for a fun day trip), you'll be centrally located for business or pleasure trips all around the Sacramento area.
